3.  Virtual Music!
Okay, so I lied in my video above.  She's not singing "Fallin' For You" because that's a song from Reflection, Book 1.  So here's my daughter's tribute to Reaction, Book 2, since that is what we're celebrating today!  Good song for the playlist, but too popular to be included.  Scroll down for Reaction's playlist.
Love this girl!!!

Reaction Playlist
1.     Be OK by Ingrid Michaelson (Heather’s post-coma and college life)
2.     Falling Slowly by Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova (The banquet dance)
3.     The Perfect Day by Bess Rogers (Four-wheeling date)
4.     And Then You by Greg Laswell (Heather meets her father)
5.     Gravity by Sara Bareilles (Heather finds out about engagement party)
6.     I’d Rather Be With You by Joshua Radin (Liz’s song to Creed)

5.  Love to cook?  Here's the recipe for the SCRUMPTIOUS soup referenced in the epilogue of Reaction:

Chicken Tortilla Soup

2 boneless skinless chicken breast (cubed and cooked)
8 cups chicken broth
1 cup carrot, diced very thin
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, chopped
1 tablespoon garlic clove, minced
1 cup chopped tomato
1 cup coconut milk
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (I never put this in mine.  I don't do spicy!)
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 cups fried corn tortillas, cut into strips (Or just crush up some tortilla chips like I do.)
2 limes, cut into wedges
salt

Directions:

1. In a large pot, combine the chicken, broth and carrots. Season with allspice, thyme, cinnamon, ginger and garlic. Bring to a boil, then simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes, or until carrots are tender. Pour in the tomato, coconut milk and hot pepper sauce. Heat through, but do not boil.

2. Ladle into bowls, and top with shredded mozzarella cheese and tortilla strips. Squeeze juice onto soup from lime wedges.

Mmmmmmmm!

  3. Bombed the romance quiz. Fun release party though! Now I am dying to hear Kassidy sing Falling for You. Think we can arrange that? In response to your blog's name, wouldn't it just be Roberts' ?

    1. If I did the classics, you would have been on top for sure! Next time I'll include Les Mis, Tess, and some Bronte novels!!

I know, I wasn't sure about the possessive "S" either. I did some research and found that a singular noun should be followed by an apostrophe s, but a plural noun just needs an apostrophe. So-

Mrs. Roberts's books are entertaining. (singular)
The Roberts' confidence is unduly high. (plural)

But I think the rule is a flimsy one these days (similar to commas). Most agree that it's more about consistency than anything. And to be honest, I didn't want to redo my blog banner!!

Kass did sing and film "Fallin' for You". I'll be sure to post it!!

      Love ya!

  6. Ok, let's see if this works! Ha ha... Was having some issues with posting comments earlier.
Maybe one day we'll get to the bottom of Stephenie Meyer's "e"!!
Loved the music! Especially Mindy Gledhill's. Thought that captured Heather's anticipation perfectly!
And tell Kassidy that she's amazing!!!
